-
- Crypt is a desk accessory which encrypts the desk scrap. Designed principally
- for mailing sensitive data it can also be used for general encryption purposes.
- The desk scrap is where your Mac stores data when you choose cut or copy
- from the edit menu.
-
- Crypt encrypts TEXT or pictures (PICT's) from the desk scrap. The encrypted data
- is TEXT in a format which is insensitive to mail-program mangling. This is left on the
- desk scrap for pasting into mailing programs or other suitable applications.
-

- • Uses 384 k (can be reduced if you are encrypting text only)

- Crypt's encryption system is compatible with sCrypt 0.4, an encrypting editor, and
- also with secretDiary -- a program for keeping a diary on your mac. It is not
- compatible with earlier versions. Fortunately there are not too many of these around !
